(UNDATED) - According to the USPS website, there is still time for timely stateside holiday shipping.
If you want to send a package with standard shipping, be sure to get it in the mail by December 15. If mailing first-class, that deadline can be bumped back to the 19th of December.
December 21 is the date to mail priority mail packages for expected delivery by December 24.
And for those who procrastinate the absolute last day to mail something is December 23 by using priority mail express service but the cost will be more. If mailing a gift to someone in the military, the last suggested deadline is December 17.
The local post office has many mailing supplies available for purchase and a front desk associate can advise you on how best to mail your precious packages.
