(PAOLI) - More than 20 firefighters battled a blaze that destroyed a Paoli mobile home Tuesday night.
Firefighters from Orange County Rural District II and from Paoli Volunteer Fire Departments were called to the mobile home fire at 534 South County Road 200 North around 9 p.m.
The mobile home is located in Crowder's trailer court. Dale Applegate, his mother and another sibling lived in the home.
The home and its contents were destroyed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Hoosier Hills chapter of the American Red Cross was contacted to arrange overnight lodging for the family.
Firefighters returned to the mobile home this morning when the family returned to sift through their belongings and saw items still smouldering in the living room and bedroom areas.
