(SEYMOUR) - A convenience store on the east side of Seymour remained open Saturday afternoon despite a Florida woman accidentally crashing her vehicle through the front glass of the building.
According to Seymour police, 62-year-old, Rose Gibson of Tampa was not injured in the incident reported at the Circle K, in the 2120 block of East Tipton Street and no customers were hurt either.
Gibson told police she stopped at the station to get a drink and that's the last thing she remembers. She had no idea what happened to cause her vehicle to go into the building.
Gibson was evaluated for possible injuries by Jackson County Emergency Medical Services personnel after the wreck, reported at 12:20 p.m.
Circle K remained open for business, but asked that patients be patient at during the clean up process.
