(UNDATED) - Greene County had the state’s highest unemployment rate in December at 7.3 percent, according to a report from Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
That's four-tenths percent higher than December of 2014.
Lawrence County was not far behind, for the state's seventh highest jobless rate of 6.4 percent.
Orange County in 15th place at 5.8 percent.
Monroe County had an unemployment rate of 4.6 percent followed by Washington County at 4.7 percent.
Martin County had an unemployment rate of 4 percent, down from 5.1 percent the year before.
Daviess County was at 3.9 percent with Jackson County at 3.7 percent.
Dubois County's rate was 3.3 percent, down from 4.1 percent in December of 2014.
Indiana's overall unemployment rate in December held steady at 4.4 percent.
