(BLOOMFIELD) - An issue in the Bloomfield School District caused school officials to leave parents a message on Thursday evening.
Bloomfield Schools Superintendent Dan Sichting says there was a student discipline matter that was resolved.
Sichting reports a juvenile made a general threat to staff members and students, but at no point were any of the students or staff in any danger.
He says the message was sent to parents to keep them informed and ensure they had the correct information as to what happened.
"We Take school security very seriously. We act upon and investigate every threat," Sichting stated.
They report the student who made the threat has been officially disciplined and that more action may be taken in the future.
