(LINTON) - A 22-year-old Linton man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly entered a convenience store with a handgun and then damaged the store.
According to Linton police, Jayce Troup was arrested on a charge of criminal recklessness with a firearm after he allegedly damaged a pop machine inside of Southside Express on South Main Street in Linton during the early morning hours of December 28.
Police say Troup allegedly discharged a gun from a moving vehicle in the direction of the store. The bullet went through the window and hit the pop machine.
Troup was arrested Thursday, December 31.
Police say Troup may be facing additional charges as well.
