(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police arrested an Ellettsville man after they say he created fake gift cards and then used them in at his place of employment.
Bloomington police arrested 31-year-old Sean Michael Kot on Tuesday on a preliminary felony charge of theft. He was released from the Monroe County Jail Wednesday after posting a $700 bond.
Police were called to H.H. Gregg, at 260 N. Gates Drive, Tuesday afternoon to take an employee's report of internal fraud by another employee.
Police say Kot is accused of reimbursing himself $5,400 in gift cards.
