Last updated on Wednesday, January 27, 2016

(BEDFORD) - A homeless man was arrested after police found him intoxicated outside of a local business Tuesday night.

Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says that officers were called to Hoosier Pete's on Mitchell Road at 6:37 p.m. after a call reporting an intoxicated man at the business.

When police arrived they found 25-year-old Brandon Terry outside staggering around.

"He was very unsteady on his feet," Parsley added. "And had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage."

Terry was arrested on a charge of public intoxication and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
