(JACKSON CO.) - Replacing a bridge along a heavily traveled section of U.S. 31 near the Bartholomew-Jackson county line will disrupt traffic starting this spring through the end of November.
The Indiana Department of Transportation is planning to start demolition on the bridge over Sand Creek in early April, said Harry Maginity, INDOT spokesman.
Construction signs are going up warning motorists of the project, he said. Clearing operations and utility relocation will start the last week of January.
