(CRYSTAL) - Two drivers were injured in a rear-end collision on State Road 56 in Dubois County Tuesday night.
Deputies from Dubois County Sheriff's Department were called to the crash just before 8 p.m.
According to police, 44-year-old Dane McDonald of French Lick drove his pickup into the rear the pickup owned by 75-year-old George Lagenour of Dubois. Both vehicles were traveling east on State Road 56.
Police say the initial contact between the vehicles happened about 100 yards away from where the vehicles stopped.
Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in Jasper. McDonald had minor injuries and Lagenour's injuries were unknown. Each had passengers, but they were not injured.
Police say the accident is still under investigation and charges are pending against McDonald.
