(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man called police after he returned home to find a bullet hole in his wall and a 9 mm round on top of his microwave.
According to Bloomington Police, officers were called to the 1200 block of North Woodburn Ave. at 6:11 p.m. Saturday.
A man told police he returned home and discovered damage to his home.
The man found a 9 mm round on a paper plate on top of his microwave and damage to drywall in his kitchen and bedroom.
Investigators followed the trajectory of the bullet to a neighbor's residence.
The neighbor told police he had been unloading his gun when it accidentally discharged.
