Bloomington Mayor Hamilton Announces Board and Commission Appointments

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Mayor Hamilton announced several new appointments and reappointments to City Boards and Commissions.
City Boards and Commissions are citizen staffed and operated; they advise the Administration and the Common Council on issues affecting Bloomington.
New and reappointments include:
- Dr. Sarah Nickel, Animal Control Commission R
- Nancy Riggert, Animal Control Commission N
- Abby Perfetti, Bloomington Arts Commission R
- Angelo Pizzo, Bloomington Arts Commission N
- Janet Cheatham Bell, Bloomington Commission on the Status of Black Males N
- Jack Baker, Bloomington Urban Enterprise Association R
- Jane Kupersmith, Bloomington Urban Enterprise Association N
- Linda Williamson, Bloomington Urban Enterprise Association N
- Jackie Yenna, Bloomington Urban Enterprise Association N
- Kathleen Mills, Board of Park Commissioners N
- Marsha Bradford, Board of Public Safety N

"These appointees bring great diversity of backgrounds and experiences," said Mayor Hamilton. "I appreciate each new appointee's willingness to serve and look forward to their contributions to improve Bloomington for all."
Appointments were made taking into consideration the input of the Mayor's Transition Committee "Finding Good People" task force. Other input came from staff, current and past City Board and Commission members and resident selfnominations.
