(BROWNSTOWN) - A 29-year-old woman faces a Level 5 felony charge of dealing in heroin as the result of a nearly year-long investigation.
Cynthia Edington of Brownstown was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail at 11:09 a.m. Wednesday. She was being held without bond Thursday pending her initial hearing, according to a news release from Jackson County Detective Benjamin R. Rudolph.
Rudolph said the investigation that led to Edington's arrest began in April 2015.
County Officer Jeff Walters assisted with the investigation and her arrest.
