(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police are currently investigating a scamming incident at a local gas station.
According to police, officers found a skimming device on the internal portion of the portion of a gas pump.
Police say there was no way for a customer to detect the device without opening the pump's door.
Officers are asking residents to notify police and a store employee if you witness anyone, other than an employee opening the pump's door.
Residents who used the gas pumps at the Circle K on Lincoln Avenue are asked to monitor your bank/credit card accounts and to report any unauthorized transactions to your bank or credit card company and to police.
