(BLOOMINGTON) - A fire at Acadia Court apartments in Bloomington damaged one unit.
Firefighters from Bloomington and Perry-Clear Creek responded to the fire at 10:16 a.m. Sunday.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within 10 minutes and confined the blaze to one unit in the five-unit building at 3224 S. Acadia Courts. The remaining units had smoke damage. Only one family, in the unit where the fire started, was displaced, the other residents were able to return to their homes.
According to firefighters one person who was in the building was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and singed hair.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were Bloomington police and an Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital ambulance crew.
