(BEDFORD) - A Springville man was arrested Saturday after police find drugs and drug paraphernalia in vehicle.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Mike Branham, 32-year-old Jeremy Hall was arrested on charges of driving while his driver's license suspended, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and other unlisted charges
Hall was arrested after a report of an accident on Harrodsburg Road near Camelot Lane.
"The crash involved the suspect's truck striking a utility pole, which was broken and blocked the roadway," Branham says.
Police discovered Hall, who was was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver's license and that the license plate on the truck was registered to a different vehicle.
Hall also admitted to officers that he did not have insurance.
While investigating the crash, Lawrence County Officer Jordan Wheelock noticed drug paraphernalia in the passenger side floorboard and asked Hall for consent to search the truck, which he granted.
Officers then located additional drug paraphernalia, as-well-as a small baggie-end containing a white powdery substance.
The residue on the paraphernalia and the substance in the baggy both tested positive as meth.
