(BEDFORD) - Local pharmacist and State Senate Candidate Josh Anderson will be hosting a “Coffee with the Candidate” at Stone Cutters Cafe & Roastery this Thursday, February 18th from 11:30 a.m. till 1 p.m.
Anderson will also be hosting a campaign kick-off event at Stone Cutters Cafe on February 25th from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m.
"I want to give everyone the opportunity to be involved with my campaign and to tell me their issues and how they want to be represented at the State House," states Anderson.
With the recent Indiana Pharmacist Alliance endorsement under his belt, Anderson feels well equipped to take his patients' voices to the legislators. "Health Care Professionals need to be involved in the laws that dictate our services. Nobody knows the needs of my patients like I do," said Anderson in a recent interview at a Farm Bureau event.
Anderson has been on the Drug Abuse Task Force with the attorney general's office for three years. With a gained understanding of the complexed roots of the current drug epidemic, Anderson wants to use his professional experience to aid in fighting this ever growing problem.
"There isn't just one cause. It is a very intricate issue, and I am hearing daily real stories from real people who have been effected by it. We need law makers with real world experience to effectively tackle this problem head on."
Anderson will be available to discuss these and any other issues at these events.
To host a coffee with Josh or for any questions email him at JoshMAnderson44@gmail.com.
