(SEYMOUR) - Seymour Police arrested three people Monday after they received a tip of possible drug activity in the 800 block of East Fourth Street.
When police arrived at the home they arrested 21-year-old Travis Newton, 21-year-old Kayla Stout and 39-year-old Jennifer Fleetwood.
Newton is facing charges of dealing in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, according to a news release from the Seymour Police Department.
He was booked into the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown at 11:33 p.m. Monday and was released at 2:36 p.m. Tuesday after posting $1,005 bond.
Stout and Fleetwood are both facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana and issued summons to appear in court because of their cooperation during the investigation,.
The incident that led to the arrests began when officers Mike Payne, Benjamin Miller and Jim Handley went to the home after receiving a tip of possible drug activity.
During the investigation,they found more than 83 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and drug packaging material.
