(CAMBY) - The Morgan County Sheriff deputies arrested two men after they attempted to evade police in a vehicle stolen from Indianapolis.
According to Morgan County Sheriff's Department press release, the pursuit began at 4:18 p.m. on Saturday after a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle when they noticed the license plate didn't match the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle; Devon Bline, who was wanted for a parole violation for possession of a dangerous drug; sped away from deputies on Wiser Avenue.
Other officers intercepted the vehicle as it drove through the Wiser Subdivision. Bline crashed the vehicle into brush after leading officers off the roadway and into the woods, near North Sheryl Avenue.
The deputies and police canine units converged on the vehicle and apprehended:
22-year-old Devon S. Bline of Indianapolis, on charges of auto theft, criminal recklessness with a motor vehicle, resisting law enforcement with a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct, and operating while never licensed.
31-year-old Joshua R. Floyd of Mooresville on a charge of unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle.
No one was injured in the crash.
