(BEDFORD) - Two people were arrested after the Lawrence County Drug Task force stopped their vehicle at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
After the stop, a Bedford canine unit responded.
The vehicle was stopped because the vehicle had a busted windshield and a false and fictitious license plate.
The dog alerted police to possible drugs inside the vehicle.
Officers found multiple containers of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested the driver 23-year-old Kyle Guthrie of Orleans for operating a vehicle while never licensed, possession of meth and visiting a common nuisance.
His passenger, 19-year-old Jordan Dotts, is facing charges of possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance.
