(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after police found meth in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers arrested 56-year-old Anthony Sego after an officer pulled him over at Eastside Carwash on 16th Street Friday morning.
Parsley says the vehicle was stopped because police believed the passenger in Sego's vehicle was wanted on a warrant.
The man was not who police were looking for, but while running Sego's driver's license police learned he was driving on a suspended driver's license. Sego was arrested.
Officers searched the vehicle and found more than 5 grams of meth, a smoking pipe, spoons, a razor and other drug paraphernalia.
Sego was then charged with possession of more than 5 grams of meth, reckless possession of drug paraphernalia.
