(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of N and 4 streets Thursday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 57-year-old Daniel Luttrell of Bedford was traveling north on N Street and had stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of 4th and N streets. He told police that after stopping he proceeded north through the intersection and that is when his 1997 Dodge Ram pickup was struck by a 2002 Buick Park Avenue driven by 25-year-old Jamie Grubb of Bedford.
Grubb told police she was traveling west on 4th Street and had stopped at the stop sign at the intersection and was attempting to turn south onto N Street when her car was struck by the pickup truck.
Police say both drivers stated they had stopped at their respective stop signs and did not see the other vehicle until the collision.
Grubb complained of stomach and hip pain. Luttrell was not injured.
