(BLOOMINGTON) - A man was arrested after he allegedly stole items from Spencer’s and threatened to kill a police officer.
Bloomington Police officers arrested 45-year-old Jamie Voci, who told police he was homeless, on charges of theft, resisting law enforcement and intimidation of a police officer.
Police were called to College Mall after mall security stopped Voci after Spencer's employees caught him concealing items under his clothing.
According to Bloomington Capt. Steve Kellams, Voci was attempting to steal more than $90 worth of intimate outfits and personal creams and other items.
Kellams says Voci was at first cooperative but then began yelling and threatening officers when he realized he was going to jail.
