(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Drug Task Force arrested an Indianapolis man after a confidential informant purchased meth from him.
Police arrested 46-year-old Michael Mumaw on two counts of possession of meth, dealing meth and conspiracy to commit dealing of meth.
According to a probable cause affidavit, in late January the Drug Task Force used a confidential informant to meet with Mumaw to purchase meth. The informant allegedly purchased 3.5 grams of the drug.
The next day, the informant told police that Mumaw wanted to sell them an "eight ball" of meth for $350.
The informant met with Mumaw and two others to negotiate a deal.
Again, the informant met with Mumaw, but he received the bag of meth from one of the other people in the car.
But police say that Mumaw orchestrated the purchase and price.
Mumaw was arrested at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday and is being held without bond at the Lawrence County Jail.
