(BEDFORD) - John Lowery Municipal Pool Manager Luke Haskett will be offering 2 lifeguarding classes starting this Spring at the Bedford North Lawrence High School Pool.
Those interested in being a lifeguard this summer will need to take 1 of these classes. At these classes you will be taught all of the skills to become a lifeguard as well as take a CPR course for the Professional Rescuer.
Session 1 is on Saturdays: March 5th, March 19th, and April 2nd from Noon until 4 p.m.
Session 2 is on Sundays: March 6th, March 20th, and April 3rd from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The cost of this class is $180.
Students looking to take this class must pre-register at the Parks Office. Anyone who has already been a lifeguard before and is looking to get recertified needs to come on either April 2nd from Noon until 4 p.m. or or April 3rd from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. to retake the test.
The cost for recertified is $60.
