(JASPER) - Three Martin County women were arrested Tuesday night after they allegedly stole items from the Jasper Walmart.
Jasper Police officers were called to the Walmart Super Center after the store's lost prevention officer stopped the women and called police around 8 p.m.
Police arrested 40-year-old Gretchen Haribson, 49-year-old Juily Peterson, both of Loogootee and 40-year-old Shawn Brown of Shoals.
Police say all three attempted to hide stolen items and leave the store without paying for them.
Police found Brown with more than $112 dollars worth of clothing, undergarments and a beach tote. Harbison had more than $11 worth of items including a mop, cleaning supplies, clothing, undergarments and soft drinks. Petterson was found with a $14.47 electrical receptacle adapter.
All three women are facing a misdemeanor charge of theft and were taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
