(MITCHELL) - Two Mitchell men were injured after the vehicle they were in flipped on its side Sunday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 20-year-old Billie Gray suffered a neck injury and his passenger 31-year-old William Wigley complained of head pain.
According to police, Gray was driving a 1999 Buick LeSabre south on Meridian Road near Daisy Lane when for some reason the vehicle went off the west side of the road. Gray over-corrected causing the vehicle to flip on its side and stop on the east side of the road in a ravine.
Gray told rescue workers that the lose gravel on the roadway caused him to loose control of the vehicle.
Police say Gray was cited for driving without a driver's license and no insurance and false and fictitious registration.
