(OOLITIC) - A Bloomington man was arrested after police and probation officer found meth hide in a bathroom.
Police arrested 29-year-old Jacob Mathis on charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and other unlisted charges.
Mathis was arrested after the Lawrence County Probation officer called for an officer at 7:28 p.m. to assist them on a home visit at 209 Hoosier Ave. The occupant of the home was on house arrest and probation officers believed there was possible drug activity going on in the home.
Probation officer found a camouflage bag in a bathroom that contained cooking spoons and a syringe with a liquid inside.
Probation officers called for an officer to respond to the home. Oolitic Police Department Deputy Marshal B.J. McDowell assisted.
McDowell says the liquid in the syringe tested positive for meth and Mathis was arrested.
