(BROWN CO.) - A 67-year-old Brown County man who suffered serious injuries when his semi overturned last week in Columbus, has died.
According to a police 67-year-old Steve Huber Sr. of Nashville died Tuesday at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where he was being treated for severe head injuries.
According to police Huber was driving a semi truck carrying logs when it overturned in the 3400 block of West Lowell Road near Interstate 65 in a sharp curve.
The semi flipped on its side, spilling the logs and knocking over a utility pole and fiber optic cables.
Huber was unconscious at scene and was flown by Lifeline medical helicopter to Methodist Hospital for treatment.
Huber had been a self-employed truck driver for the past 50 years, his obituary stated.
