Nashville Man Killed In Head-On Collision

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Nashville man died when his minivan struck a box truck in a head-on collision on Ind. 45 on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, 33-year-old Kenneth Harden died at the scene of the crash in the 7000 block of East Ind. 45.

The accident happened around 3 p.m.

Investigators say Harden was traveling eastbound in a 2002 Chevrolet Venture and crossed the center line into westbound traffic.

Harden's vehicle hit a 2015 International 4000 Series box truck head on.

The driver of the box truck reported no injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
