(BEDFORD_) - A Springville woman was injured after she crashed her three-wheel motorcycle in front of Smith’s Western Wear and Tack, in the 1300 block of Washboard Road Saturday.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 66-year-old Regina Haverly suffered chest injured and was flown to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment.
According to police Haverly was traveling south on Old State Road 37 on her 2009 Suzuki Burgman and was turning west onto Washboard Road when the vehicle ran off the side of the road and struck the sign at Smith's Western Wear and Tack.
Haverly was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in the driveway of the business.
After being thrown from the trike the motorcycle continued on a forward path stopping in the yard of the business.
Two witnesses told police it appeared Haverly was traveling too fast to make the turn safely.
