(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Fifth and W streets.
According to a Bedford Police report, 18-year-old Makayla Ruland of Bedford was stopped on W Street at the intersection of Fifth Street and was facing southbound when she attempted to turn onto Fifth Street.
Ruland told police she didn't see the approaching 2013 Buick traveling west on Fifth Street and pulled her 2005 BMW into the path of 92-year-old William Arthur's car. Her vehicle struck Arthur's car in the front passenger side.
Ruland was not injured, but Arthur complained of of neck pain following the incident.
