(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Plan Commission gave its approval to the bicycle and pedestrian master plan within the city limits.
Remenschneider and Associates created the plan with public input.
Once the plan is adopted, the city has greater access to funds from the Indiana Department of Transportation to develop pedestrian pathways.
The goal of the plan is to provide paths that connect schools, parks and the downtown to make it easy for pedestrians to travel between them.
