(BLOOMFIELD) - Greene County General Hospital will host a Blood Drive this Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the hospital campus.
"Indiana Blood Center must see 550 individuals each and every day to ensure hospital patients near and far have more tomorrows and brighter futures," said Amy Lore, GCGH's Public Relations, Marketing and Business Development manager.
The event is in partnership with the Indiana Blood Center, and all donors will receive a special bicentennial Indiana t-shirt, a special thank-you this year.
The Blood Center's Bloodmobile will be present to take donations, and it is recommended donors have a light snack before donating. Donation takes less than an hour, and most people are eligible to donate.
