(BEDFORD) - Purdue Extension is hosting a Diabetic Education and Cooking School.
Dining with Diabetes is sponsored by St. Vincent Dunn Hospital and Purdue Extension Lawrence, Jackson and Washington counties.
The event is free to attend and will be held on Tuesdays June 28, July 5, 12, 19 from 10 a.m. till Noon.
Registration is due by June 21.
The event will be held at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital at 1600 23rd Street in Bedford (enter the main lobby and asked the receptionist for room location.)
The class is for persons with Type 2 diabetes or their caregivers. The goal is to create a healthy meal plan, provide information and motivate people to adopt positive lifestyle changes.
