(GOOSE POND) - The Goose Pond Visitor Center is still under construction.
Goose Pond property manager Travis Stoelting told Andrew Christman of the Greene County Daily World completion has been hampered due to weather conditions.
The project doesn't have a set opening date, but they are hoping to open the facility late this summer or early fall.
The project started construction last September and was under construction all winter. When it opens, it will serve as the southwest office for the Department of Natural Resources' Fish and Wildlife division.
According to Stoelting it will house eight offices and a public room with glass walls so people can look see out. The public room will also have interpretive features, such as educational displays.
