(ORLEANS) - A woman and her grandson were arrested on drug charges after Orleans Police executed a search warrant at their home in the 400 block of North Maple Street on Thursday.
Police arrested 18-year-old Braden Smith on charges of dealing marijuana more than 30 grams, possession of a legend drug, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
His grandmother, 60-year-old Jill Vantine, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana more than 30 grams and maintaining a common nuisance.
According to an Orleans Police Department press release, officers found more than 30 grams of marijuana, scales, baggies and drug paraphernalia.
Both Smith and Vantine were arrested at the scene. A juvenile female was also at the home and released to her parents.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
