(LINGTON) - A Linton man is listed in critical condition after his moped collided with a truck Monday night.
According to Linton Police, 47-year-old Donald Hodge Jr. was taken to Greene County General Hospital and then flown by helicopter to IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment.
Police say the accident happened at 9:27 p.m. at the intersection of South Main and Southeast A streets.
When police arrived Hodge was unresponsive and bleeding from his mouth.
The driver of the second vehicle, 25-year-old Nicholas Sarris of West Terre Haute, and witnesses told police Hodge failed to stop at the stop sign while traveling west on Southeast A Street, causing him to strike the rear driver-side door of Sarris' Ford Explorer.
