(WORTHINGTON) - A Switz City man was arrested after police found LSD, meth and other drugs.
Earlier this morning, Worthington Town Marshall Randy Raney requested Indiana State Troopers to assist him with a narcotics investigation.
During the investigation police stopped a Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck driven by 35-year-old Eric D. Word.
During the course of the traffic stop, Trooper Klun deployed his Narcotics K9 "Loki" who gave a positive indication that drugs were in the vehicle.
Police found numerous items of drug paraphernalia, marijuana, LSD, meth and items used to deal the drug.
Police also found a loaded weapon.
Word was arrested on charges of dealing meth with in possession of a firearm, possession of meth with a firearm, possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Units assisting were Indiana State Police Troopers Caleb Garvin and Nicholas Bartalone along with Worthington Police Officer Russell Walls.
