(SEYMOUR) - A man riding a stolen motorcycle led police on a chase that began Monday afternoon in Seymour and ended with his arrest near the Jackson/Jennings County line.
Police arrested 45-year-old Jamie Jon Mantel of Brookfield, Wisconsin on Level 6 felony charges of theft and resisting law enforcement with a vehicle after the incident that began when Seymour police were called to On the Rox at 214 S. Broadway Street to investigate a report of a stolen motorcycle.
At the time of the call at 12:45 p.m., Capt. Carl Lamb reported seeing a motorcycle matching the silver Harley Fatboy that had been reported stolen leaving the city eastbound on Tipton Street near U.S. 31. Mantel was arrested a short time later.
