(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell High School Class of 2016 are starting a new tradition - they will wear their caps and gowns and parade through the halls of Burris and Hatfield elementary schools this morning at 10:30 a.m.
The younger children will watch and cheer on the graduates.
The regular senior parade that allows the graduating students to drive through Mitchell celebrating the end of their school and the beginning of their new lives will kick off around kick off about 11:50 a.m. Tuesday at the city park by the swimming pool.
The parade will follow Hancock Avenue to Sheeks Drive, continuing south to Main Street, then following Main Street west until arriving back at the city park via Teke Burton Drive.
