(BEDFORD) - The second round of Brain Games XV is tonight at Little Theatre of Bedford.
Brain Games is an annual fundraiser of the Lawrence County Museum of History.
One game, pitting Bedford Laser Wash against Flinn Farms' Oolitic Bearcats, took overtime to decide the winner. The game was tied at 120-120 when the buzzer sounded. According to Brain Games rules, the game is decided on the best two-out-of-three questions (or how ever many questions it takes for one team to get two correct answers). It took five as Laser Wash won 140-120.
Other scores - Bedford Federal Savings Bank. Bed Fed, composed of members of Bedford First United Methodist Church, defeated Turpen & Deckard's Team Radius, 190-70. Bedford Home Furnishings defeated Day & Carter Mortuary, 150-140; Ferguson-Lee's Ann-Margret topped the Bedford Hiking Club, 140-110; Jason Jackson's Edward Jones team defeated the Orleans Chamber's OHS Alumni team, 140-130; Judy Macy State Farm insurance knocked off Tri-County Builders, 140-110; Virgil I. Grissom Inc./Lawrence County Tourism won over GM Powertrain by forfeit; and IU Health Bedford Hospital defeated the 2015 Teen Brain Games champions sponsored by Bedford Furniture Galleries, 120-110.
The eight winners from Tuesday will square off against eight winners from Thursday night next Tuesday at LTB.
