(SEYMOUR) - A Seymour man faces multiple charges, including three felonies, following two recent incidents.
The Seymour Tribune reports that 23-year-old Bartolome Diego Baltazar was arrested early Thursday morning after a wreck in the 600 block of East Oak Street and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, blood alcohol content 0.08 or greater, false reporting and identity deception. The latter charges come from Baltazar giving a false name and having a fake identification, police said.
During the investigation, Officer Mike Payne with the Seymour Police Department remembered Baltazar from an incident April 27 in the 600 block of East Oak Street in which he forced his way into a woman's apartment and touched her genitals, police said.
He is now facing charges of rape, sexual battery, burglary.
