(SOLSBERRY) - A single-vehicle accident Monday sent three Greene County residents to the hospital.
The accident occurred about 3 p.m. Monday on State Road 54.
According to Greene County Sheriff's report, the vehicle, a 2005 Buick driven by 66-year-old Robert Brookshire, of Bloomfield, was driving in the westbound lane of State Road 54 when the passenger side tires went off the north side of the roadway.
Brookshiew was unable to maneuver the vehicle back onto the roadway, traveling down a ditch and striking a culvert before exiting the ditch and coming to rest in a parking lot.
The vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage from impacting the culvert, and Brookshire and two passengers, 68-year-old Sharleen Brookshire, and 85-year-old Joretta Dixon, all complained of back and neck pain.
