(BEDFORD) - Bedford police were alerted at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday morning about a possible under-aged teen driving a vehicle at the Circle K at 16th and O streets.
An officer stopped the gray Trailblazer at 16th and Beech streets.
"And sure enough there was a 14-year-old girl driving the vehicle," says Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley.
Also in the vehicle were two 15-year-old males one from Bedford and the other Mitchell
"One male was a reported runaway from Monroe County," Parsley added. "It is unclear why he had a Mitchell address, but at some point he had run away from Monroe County."
That boy was cited into juvenile court on a charge of runaway and curfew violation.
"The other boy was also cited into court for curfew violation and then released to his parents," Parsley added.
The girl, also of Bedford, was cited into court for driving a vehicle while never licensed and curfew violation. She also was released to her parents.
