(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested Sunday morning after Bedford Police found her with heroin, a syringe and other drug paraphernalia.
At 11:45 a.m. police were called to a home in the 100 block of Quail Ridge Road after a report of a woman's mother voiced concern about drugs in her home.
Police arrested 32-year-old Sara Gilstrap on charges of possession of a narcotic drug (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance and other unlisted charges.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley officers found a syringe and foil both with heroin inside and alprazolam pills which Gilstrap did not have a prescription for.
