(MORGANTOWN) - Indiana Department of Transportation reopened the Morgantown bridge on State Road 135 North Friday morning.
The bridge has been closed since late April, after an inspector noticed damage to the support structure that was more dangerous than originally thought. It was hit by a large vehicle in the fall and closed briefly, then reopened. Since then, detours have taken drivers onto county roads. Details about the recent repairs were not immediately available.
