(BEDFORD) - There is a new wildlife technician at Hoosier National Forest.
Bryan King comes to the Hoosier from New Mexico with a wealth of experience, and a great work ethic. He has worked the last 10 years on the Shawnee National Forest in Illinois. He has now bought a house outside of Bedford and plans to stay awhile.
King grew up in a town called Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. He received double majors from New Mexico State University in Wildlife Science and Fisheries Management. The Forest Service hired King under the Student Cooperative Education Program which allowed him to work and gain experience during college and then placed him after college on the Shawnee National Forest.
King is just getting settled in with his new job but likes the work and the area, and is looking forward to getting into some big projects. King enjoys hunting and fishing.
He can be reached at the Bedford office of the Hoosier National Forest at (812) 275-5987.
