(LINTON) - Makayla Ann-Marie Fulton will be reigning as queen of the Linton Freedom Festival this year.
She was crowned Saturday night during the Linton-Stockton Freedom Festival Scholarship Pageant, with Crislyn Genea-Lee Woods named princess.
Fulton is the 18-year-old daughter of Heather and Jason Fulton. She is a 2016 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School.
Along with being active in the upcoming Freedom Festival activities, Fulton will also participate in the Indiana State Festival Association Scholarship Pageant in June. She received a $500 scholarship.
Hunter House was named the first runner-up for the queen contest. She received a $200 scholarship.
Woods, who was named princess, is the 16-year-old daughter of John and Crystal Woods. She will also be representing the Linton Freedom Festival during the fun run and 5K events, as well as the July 4 parade.
Brooklyn Hoffeditz was named the princess runner-up.
