(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured in a rear-end collision on Mitchell Road near 30th Street, Wednesday morning.
According to a Bedford Police report, 68-year-old Robert Daggy of Bedford was traveling south on Mitchell Road in the left lane and had slowed to make a left turn when the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving was struck in the rear by a 1994 Honda Accord driven by 18-year-old Nina Sneed of Paoli.
Sneed told police she was unable to stop and another vehicle in the right lane prevented her from going around Daggy's vehicle.
Daggy complained of back pain. Sneed had bruising and redness to her chest from her seat belt. Both were checked at the scene by an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew.
Daggy told police he would drive himself to the hospital.
Sneed told police she would seek medical attention later if her pain became worse.
